version 3: Down by the lake (click for bigger picture)

online: December '04 - June '05

This was kind of a winter version and I liked the icy, frozen texture of it a lot. I used about a thousand stock photos for this version and was definitely pleased with the way it turned out.

I absolutely adored this layout. Really. I loved it with all my heart and soul (which is why it stayed for so long) and it was so hard to take it down. It contained a lot of rain (naturally) and I loved the atmosphere it had. I didn't even grow tired of it, I just felt like it was time for something new.

online: January '04 - March '04

My first layout! I spent a long time working on it and I really liked the way it turned out, especially the way the map and the london pics fit together. I was actually just coming back from a trip to london with a friend when I did this, so that's pretty much what inspired me. (Especially as we spent a lot of time looking at that map! ;)) As much as I loved it was pretty unhandy and I felt I really needed to reorganize the whole site. It was hard to take it down though!
